UPDATE 4/13: Ducky has been adopted!
Here is the Anchorage Daily News Dog Blog Pet of the Week:
Please meet Ducky, an adult, neutered male, Lab mix. Very active and energetic, this guy loves his exercise, chasing balls and toys, running, playing, and interacting with people. He still has a lot of puppy playfulness and mischief about him, but would make a good running and hiking buddy. He’s very friendly and good-natured, attentive and wants to please, and is responsive to training. He is playful with other dogs and did wonderfully in Shelter Dog Play Group. He’d do great in an active home that can provide lots of exercise, attention and structure. Special thanks to the Alaska SPCA for providing Ducky’s neuter surgery free of charge, and reducing his adoption fee by $80! Ducky can now be adopted for $72, which includes his MOA license, vaccinations, and microchip.
Check out Ducky living up to his name in Shelter Dog Play Group!
