Pet of the Week: Potter

A208431 Potter

Looking for a unique housemate? Then listen to KFAT 92.9and 96.3 The Wolf today to hear about Potter. Potter is about 5 feet long so he has some growing to do—boa constrictors can reach up to 14 feet. Snakes have specific needs for housing, temperature control, and feeding. Potter will do best in a home that understands these needs and is willing to make a long-term commitment as boas can live up to 30 years. Plus, just like any other type of pet, snakes require regular veterinary care. Potter’s adoption fee is $50. The enclosure is not included so be sure to bring a container to get him home safely.

Keep reading for the Potter’s poem that staff wrote for him:

I may not bark, I may not purr, but I may be the pet you prefer.

I may be scaly and crawl on my belly, but I am not smelly.

Take me home and I won’t ask for a bone.
