Max (A203645)
Please meet Max, a 1 year old, neutered male, Karelian Bear Dog mix. Handsome, curious and alert, this active guy is curious and likes to explore, but is attentive and handles easily. Playful, enjoys his outings, exercise, and playing ball. Affectionate too–he likes to put his head in your lap for a snuggle. He’s lived with children, but has shown food guarding behavior, so should not go to a home with kids under 16. He will chase small animals, so no cats! Intelligent and tolerant, he will do best in a home that can provide structure, consistent training, plenty of exercise and things to do. Sweet, friendly fellow! Special thank you to Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic for providing Max’s neuter surgery free of charge – reducing his adoption fees by $80! Max can now be adopted for $72, which includes his MOA dog license, vaccinations, and microchip.
