Pet of the Week – Guinea Pigs!

UPDATE 2/1:  Piglet has been adopted!  Gramble and Wilber are still looking for their new homes.

Here is the Mix 103.1 Pet of the Week:

Of the 9 guinea pigs we had available for adoption last weekend, we have 3 left still looking for new homes:  Gramble, Wilber, and Piglet!  Gramble is a 1.5 year old, white and tan, shorthair, male guinea pig that has been at the shelter for a month now.  Gramble has lived with kids before and done well.  Wilber and Piglet are newer to the shelter.  Wilber is an adult, white, mediumhair male and Piglet is an adult, beige, mediumhair male.  All three are friendly, like exploring their surroundings, nibbling on carrots, snoozing, and sitting in your lap.  Guinea pigs can live 5-8 years.  They can get very excited to see you, once they get to know you, and will dance, hop, and chirp in greeting.  Plus, they are super cute to boot!  Our guinea pigs can be adopted for $10 each.
