Pet of the Week – Mocha (A202319) & Oreo (A202557)

UPDATE 1/16:  Oreo has been adopted!  Mocha is still available.

Watch KTVA’s Daybreak show tomorrow morning to see Mocha and Oreo on air!

Today we would like to introduce you to our 2 resident rabbits!  They came into the shelter separately, so are perfectly fine to be adopted individually.

Mocha (A202319)

Mocha (A202319)

Mocha is an adult, female bunny, with a beautiful brown coat.  Friendly, curious and bright, this beautiful young girl is looking for a forever home. She’s lived happily with children, and enjoys snacking on apples. Really likes people, and will come right up to you for attention. Highly lovable and cute as can be!

Oreo (A202557)

Oreo (A202557)

Oreo is an adult, male bunny, with the black and white coat his name indicates!  This friendly, young bunny is inquisitive and alert. He enjoys interacting with people and will come right up to you for attention. Gentle and good-natured, he’ll make a nice family pet and companion.

Rabbits, in general, are very intelligent and social, and can be quite affectionate.  They generally live 8-10 years and require as much care as a dog or a cat.  Many rabbits enjoy playing with toys to chew on and toss around for fun.  Rabbits have delicate skeletons, and so should be handled gently.  Children should always be supervised when handling rabbits.  If you are interested in a pet other than a dog or a cat, this adorable bunny might be the perfect pet for you!  Mocha and Oreo can be adopted for $20 each.
