UPDATE 3/2: Ozzy has been adopted!

Ozzy (A176392)
Here is the current star of AACCC, Ozzy, an adult, spayed female, pit bull mix. In case you haven’t heard the news, this past weekend Ozzy earned her Canine Good Citizen Certificate through the American Kennel Club, AND came in third place at the Fur Rondy Mutt Show Costume Contest! She is the Sandra Bullock of the canine world! This very friendly, easy-going, calm and gentle girl is eager to please, focused and intelligent. She knows lots of commands and enjoys learning. She walks politely on her leash, rides well in the car, likes taking things slow and easy, and loves just hanging out with people. She apparently has metal pins in her shoulder from an old injury, but this does not seem to bother her. She’ll make a pleasant walking buddy and a great around-the-house pal! Ozzy can be adopted for $72, as Southside Animal Hospital already donated her spay surgery (thank you Southside!), which includes her MOA license, vaccinations and microchip.
