The “Do Nothing” Exercise

Ziggy just got adopted (yay!), but this is a great example of the range of needs a shelter dog has.  From our volunteers:  One of the kindest things we can do for a shelter animal is share quiet moments with them so we start every class with The Do Nothing Exercise. The dog learns to settle themselves and each time they do – they get pet. Ziggy is a fast learner and he was so focused for the rest of his training.
